Students are expected to arrive on time for class start. Students must call the school if they are going to be late and leave a message on the answering machine or with a school official. Sending a text to another student or directly to the instructor is not acceptable. Daytime students must call the school before 8:00am and evening students must call before 4:00pm. A student must call in for himself or herself except in the case of an emergency where a family member may call in for a student. Tardy hours will be counted as absent hours. A student with habitual tardiness will face disciplinary actions, removal from class, and can be dismissed from the American Academy of Health & Beauty.
