Our workshops cover the latest techniques in a number of areas including advanced esthetics, spa nails and massage therapy. Each workshop is taught by licensed and experienced industry professionals.
Elevated Education:
Our mission is to deliver comprehensive education and actively mentor students towards a lifelong career in the beauty industry. Igniting creative-thinkers from new and seasoned artists to beauty enthusiasts and makeup connoisseurs. Our curriculum has a combination of theory and hands on taught by a working and vastly experienced Master Makeup Artist-who’s goal is to inspire all who are passionate about the art of makeup. The course is 8 consecutive Mondays / 8 weeks long from 8:30am to 4:00pm.
By the end of this course, you will receive a certificate of completion from Haus of Beauty & American Academy of Health & Beauty. This certificate will be evidence of your completion of the Level 1: Makeup Artistry 101 Course and will allow access to apply to various professional makeup lines for Pro-Discounts.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
* Students are responsible for bringing their own model to each Hands-On class. (This excludes the first class. ) If a model cannot be provided, the student will be responsible for coordinating with a fellow student or instructor.
* During this course, students will replicate looks they learned throughout the course. To determine certification, each student is evaluated by Master Makeup Artist and owner of Haus of Beauty, Heather Schofield.
* Students are expected to attend each class in order to receive the official certificate. In the event of an excused absence (Example: Medical Absence with Doctors Note), you will be responsible for scheduling a private “makeup” class outside of scheduled class time. Repeat absences will result in removal from the course and/or retake in the next scheduled course start.
* Please note: The State of NH does not require a license to “practice” or learn Makeup Artistry. It is, however advised to have an Esthetics or Cosmetology license due to requirements by employers, venues, and certain beauty business insurances. As a Makeup Artist you are held to the same standards of sanitation and safety protocols. This certification is not a replacement for licensure, it is merely evidence of training with a Professional Makeup Artist with over a decade of experience.

This class will give you the confidence and skill to tackle this very popular waxing service that many Estheticians aren’t offering! We will teach you how to get your client in and out quickly, skillfully, efficiently and most importantly, safely! Brazilian waxing is not only a popular service, but also can be a very profitable one. In this workshop you will learn how to do a Brazilian Wax quickly and efficiently while maintaining the highest of safety and sanitation protocols! The importance of safety and sanitation will be discussed in further detail, along with contraindications, proper body mechanics and different tips and tricks of the trade. There will be a demonstration using both hard and soft wax, plus hands-on practice. (A model will be required for the hands-on portion.) Your instructor will be there to ensure you’ve got it! You must be a licensed Esthetician or Cosmetologist. Please be aware that this is an advanced class and the participant should be proficient in body waxing.
