SUMMARY:Electric File Workshop
DESCRIPTION:This class will teach licensed professionals how to safely use the electric file. You will learn the proper techniques\, different drill bits\, how to care for the natural nail\, learn a back fill\, shaping\, finishing and how to work safely and with proper sanitation. \n*Must have State ID (driver’s license) and Professional License to show at beginning of class. You can not attend class without these two items \n*3 minimum attendees required to hold a class \n*No Credit or Refund will be issued if you fail to attend the class \n* Suggested to bring your own E-file and Bits if you have them \nTuition: $399  \nInstructor: Melissa Dinsmore \nMissy is the lead Nail Instructor at American Academy of Health & Beauty. SUMMARY:Infection Control Workshop
DESCRIPTION:This 2 day\, 10 hour course focuses on Nail Salon Ecology providing basic understanding of Microbiology\, Infection Control\, Safety and First Aid with State Board Requirements of each. Also covered is Nail Physiology focusing on Diseases and Disorders. There will be several hands-on demonstrations focusing on Sanitation and Disinfection of Implements and salon equipment\, including Pedicure tubs and Blood Exposure Procedures. This is a 2 day Workshop (Saturday 9-2/Sunday 9-12)  and dates to hold the class are determined as needed. There is an written exam with a required passing grade of 75% or greater at the completion of the workshop in order to receive certification. \n*Minimum attendees required to hold class is 2 \n*MUST be signed up 2 weeks prior to class \n*Must have State ID (driver’s license) and Professional License to show at beginning of class. SUMMARY:Energetic Raindrop Bodywork
DESCRIPTION:ENERGETIC RAINDROP BODYWORK (ERB) is one of the safest\, most noninvasive treatments available for spinal health and may help to release stress\, tension\, muscle spasm flare-ups\, chronic pain\, colds and flu\, fatigue\, poor sleep and sometimes emotional blockages. It is also an invaluable method for promoting healing from within using topically applied essential oils to the feet first (the arch represents the spinal area in reflexology) and then the spinn leaving the client emotionally and physically balanced. The oils used are: Valor\, oregano\, basil\, thyme\, wintergreen\, aroma siez\, marjoram\, cypress and peppermint. \nA treatment lasts approximately one-hour\, however the oils continue to work for several days and even up to a month in some instances!.  Oils are applied to the bottom of the feet first (the arch represents the spinal area in reflexology). The oils are then dripped one at a time like drops of rain\, up the clients back; thus\, the name Raindrop. A series of seven different strokes are then performed on the back area to help disperse the oils\, followed by a moist warm towel wrap.
