This is open to Massage Therapists\, Bodywork Practitioners\, Nurses\, Home Health Care Providers\, Energy Practitioners\, etc.\n\n\n\nINSTRUCTOR:  Gi Indoccio\n\n\nAs the Founder of Be Mindful With Gi\, and Graceful Awakenings\, Gi is extremely passionate about her work as an integrative holistic life coach\, mindfulness teacher\, and Reiki Master teacher for the past 30 years. Her background as a licensed clinical mental health counselor (LCMHC)\, gives her a unique perspective on facilitating the understanding of the true meaning of mindfulness (hint….it’s NOT what you “think”) to overcome the daily chatter that often causes us overwhelm\, anxiety and stress. Although this isn’t psychotherapy; participants in classes and courses have been transformed from the heavy load they often feel\, to a lighter\, happier\, much calmer sense of self.  Gi also became a Reiki Master Teacher in 1996 at Dovestar Institute of Holistic Technology\, formally located  in Hooksett\, New Hampshire\, and has continued to teach all three levels of Reiki and Reiki Master Teachers locally. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSince 1995\, Gi continues to have the privilege of helping thousands of people live better lives\, and be more present through multiple modalities including meditation\, hypnotherapy\, reiki\, and energy work. Her students\, and clients often comment that they leave a class feeling empowered and centered\, creating more peace\, calm\, and time in their lives. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCOURSE DESCRIPTION: \nReiki is a subtle noninvasive hands on healing technique from Japan that facilitates transformational healing at all levels\, physical\, emotional\, mental and spiritual. This tranquil energy reduces stress\, promotes deep relaxation\, relieves pain and restores balance in the body\, mind and spirit. Reiki is used in hospitals during pre and post surgery to relax the patient and to begin the healing process and can be used on yourself\, your family friends\, and clients. Reiki works with the body’s innate ability to help heal itself. After a reiki session many people experience profound relaxation\, warmth and a peacefulness which decreases stress.\nDuring this 2 day Reiki Level I class students will learn the history of Reiki; how to explain Reiki to clients; the effects and ethical practices of Reiki; Reiki notes; Reiki hand positions for scanning and self-scanning; how to plan a full body Reiki exchange with or without massage; and receive four attunements from Gi.
